The RGS swim team once again emerged CHAMPIONS, for the 10th consecutive time for the ‘B’ Division girls and the 4th consecutive time for ‘C’ Division girls.

At Singapore Sports School where the 49th School Nationals competition was held, teacher IC, Ms

Mariette Ong, Vice Captains standing tall and proud with the RGS school flag.

On the 28th and 29th of March 2008, The camp kicked off with a fun-filled afternoon at the Kallang Leisure Ice Skating Ring. It was a great team bonding for everyone in the swim team.

The camp was a great chance for the swimmers, new to the swim team to be exposed

to the social environment and future expectations.

The girls train hard together for their upcoming meets but at the same time, they enjoy many fun

moments together.

Despite the girl’s hectic schedules, they squeezed out precious time to train regularly to prepare for the upcoming meets.

On the 18th August, many RGS girls went down to the airport to welcome our very own, Olympic Swimner, Quah Ting Wen. Concidentally, it was also her 16th birthday.
