PLEASE READ THIS GUIDE VERY CAREFULLY BEFORE APPLYING FOR YOUR VISA.

APPLYING FOR YOUR TIER 4 VISA APPLICATIONOVERSEAS

Once you have receivedyour CAS statement, youwill need to make your Tier4 visa application online.

If you are a Low Risk National, you don'talways have to provide your qualificationsor evidence of your maintenance fundswhen you make your visa application. However, the Immigration Officials reservethe right to request the full range ofdocuments in all cases. Therefore you mustinform us if you are asked to submitdocuments after you have paid your visaapplication fee.

If you are a low risk national, applying fromoutside your home country, you may haveto provide your documents

 -  If you are a pilot scheme student , you do     not need to include documentation     to show you meet financial requirements     with your visa application   - You do not need to include evidence of      your academic qualifications with yourvisa      application   - You still need to meet Immigration Rules   - However, the Immigration Officials reserve      the right to request the full range of      documents in all cases. Therefore youmust      inform us if you are asked to submit      documents after you have paid your visa      application fee.   - If you are a Pilot Scheme student,  you will      be granted six months' leave after your      course ends,which is useful if you want to      look for work while you are in the UK  -  You can find more information on the pilot     scheme in the following link -      https://www.gold.ac.uk/immigratio/before-       you-arrive/tier-4-visa-pilot-scheme/

 If you are not from a low risk country, youwill have to provide your qualifications orevidence of your maintenance funds whenyou make your visa application

START BY VISITING THEGOV.UK WEBSITE ANDENSURE YOU HAVE READTHROUGH EACH STEP

You will want to start by clicking on“apply online” which will take you tothe following page:

 Click “Create an account” to startyour application.

Choose Tier 4 (General) Student Visaif you are a self funding student.

Choose Tier 4 student visa (forChevening, Marshall andCommonwealth scholars) if you are asponsored student.

You are considered a sponsoredstudent if you receive financialsponsorship from the UKGovernment, your HomeGovernment, the British Council orany international company,University or a UK independentschool.

Click NEXT to continue

Register your email address andcreate a password for your account.

Click “save and continue”

Start your application

Please enter your first name andfamily name as shown in yourcurrent passport

Your CAS number is 14 digits longand usually starts with the letter E, itwas sent to you in a PDF by us

Enter your current home address,and contact details

Choose your Gender and yourrelationship status

Enter your nationality, Date Of Birth,and country of birth, exactly as theyappear on your passport

Include your passport number aslisted in your current passport. Itshould match the passport numberon your CAS statement, let us knowas soon as possible if it doesn’t.

Select your intended date of arrival.If you don’t know exactly, just put anestimate and your length of stayshould refer to your intendedprogramme of study.

If you have a spouse or partner,include their details here, even ifthey won’t come to the UK with you.

Provide details of both of yourparents in this section

If you don’t know your UK addressyet, you can list the Goldsmithsaddress on your CAS statement if youdon’t have anywhere else availableyet.

You need to make an ImmigrationHealth Surcharge payment, find outmore  at - https://www.gov.uk/healthcareimmigrationapplication

There will be a question where it asksif your course is NQF Level 7. The'NQF' level is the same as 'RQF' level,it is just that the Home Office havenot yet updated the terminology onthe IHS payment website.

Once you have paid your health surcharge,you should be asked to select a deliverylocation. You must use the Goldsmithscode (2HE537) so that your visa is deliveredto Goldsmiths. If you don’t, your enrolmentwill be delayed. Please contact us beforeyou pay your final application fee if you areunsure about this step.
