Technology is the process by which humans modify nature to meet their needs, a technology includes all of the infrastructure necessary for design, manufacture, operation, and repair of technological artifacts, from corporate headquarters and engineering schools to manufacturing plants and maintenance facilities.

Advantages

Communication : With the help of information technology, communication has also become cheaper, quicker, and more efficient. We can now communicate with anyone around the globe by simply text messaging them or sending them an email for an almost instantaneous response.

Creation of new jobs : Probably the best advantage of information technology is the creation of new and interesting jobs. Computer programmers, Systems analyzers, Hardware and Software developers and Web designers are just some of the many new employment opportunities created with the help of IT.

Cost effectiveness : Information technology has helped to computerize the business process thus streamlining businesses to make them extremely cost effective money making machines.

Today, we can’t imagine ourselves without technological advances such as cars, medicine,

microwaves, cell phones, computers, and televisions. However, technology won’t stop

here, but develop further. As technology develops, there are not only advantages, but

disadvantages from them.

Disadvantages

Addiction: Several people, get addicted to the technology and this is a big problem, because they get a life based in material things.

Work: People will loose their jobs and be replaced by machines that will do the work for them. In addition, machines and robots are too complex for most people to use.

For example…The movie “Wall-E”. In that very enjoyable futuristic Pixar movie, technology has advanced to the point that humans leave earth and travel in huge space stations enjoying every sort of accommodation imaginable. Every basic human need is supplied by technology. The movie emphasizes how humans no longer need to walk anywhere since they now have mini-transporters that look like space age beach chairs. The result is a less than human society over-weight and over-pampered where more isn’t necessarily more or better.

How was life before this? Many years ago, life was just more simple.

The people was focus in others activities and they had more time for theyself.

The families were more united, humble and the people were closed to their friends, also values like solidarity were more present.

People usually lived more relaxed and some homeworks or needs were more difficult to realize.

In our country the people used train, horses and carts, for transportation, and for health they used natural remedies.

In some cases they didn´t go to school, they just had the home education.

Where we going?

Nowadays with the technology, we are going with a advance future, for example, technology will be open new worlds, with de communications and to discovery even new planets.

Also , technology its making robots that could help us with our works, for example robots that could help to save lives in accidents.

But, is very important to think in the world where we live, because this technology is affecting with garbage or air pollutions sometimes.

But on the other hand, this technology is saving the environment, with reducing the pollutions and to create “Eco Design” that is the creations of products but with ecology materials.

ConclusionWe´re agree with technological

advances, is easier to do labor an is important for us to improve our life.

In many jobs we are supposed to know about technological things, The problem right now is that we depend

of technological advances , we always need our cell phones or

computers to live, and that is not correct.

It is sad how families fall apart because of technological advances, there's are many distractions for kids, teenagers and adults. That's why we have many technological junkies. people have lost there values just because of globalization.
