• The Ordinary world in this is when Phillip his mom and dad live in Willemstad and Phillip plays with his friend Henrik a lot.

Meeting the Mentor

• The mentor in this movie/ book is Timothy, Timothy helps Phillip when he becomes blind and helps him through the Hurricane.

Call to Adventure

• The call to adventure is that Phillip gets on the boat with his mom and then the German bomb the boat.

Refusal to Call

• The refusal is when Phillips dad and Phillip don’t want to go on the boat fro the reason of the war but mom convinces them to let Phillip go and dad stays.

Crossing the Threshold

• Crossing the Threshold is when Phillip and his mom get on the boat and the German blow up the boat.

Allies and Enemies

• The Allies are Timothy, the enemies are the German.

The inner Most Cave

• The inner most cave is when Phillip and Timothy land on the Cay.

The Ordeal

• This is when the Hurricane comes and Timothy protects Phillip with his back so Phillip is safe.

The reward

• Phillip gets saved by a boat and he dug a grave for Timothy instead of leaving him out in the open.

The Return of the Elixir

• Philip goes back to Curacao and has surgery on his eyes and can see again with glasses.
