The Global Edgers- are not just observers!
Surabhi of class VI-B observed that the street
lights in the vicinity of her house remained
on even during the day time. She couldn't
help reacting to this wastage of power.
She wrote a letter to the Commissioner of
GHMC and brought it to his notice. She
received a reply from the commissioner,
thanking her for being vigilant and bringing
it to his notice. He further promised that the
department would be careful.
We need such vigilant people in the society.
They can only bring about the much needed
change in the system.
The richness of character of
a Global Edger !
Abu Bakhar of grade VIII had put up a stall
at the Dandiya Night fete. He did some good
business there and over his expenses he made
a profit of 1315 rupees.
He decided to donate that amount to RDF
(Rural Development Foundation) to be used
to educate the underprivileged children.
Abu Bakhar's generosity is exemplary. He
has made the whole Global Edge Family
proud!!
Science Exhibition at TGES
A science exhibition 'Science Spectrum’
provided an opportunity to the Global Edgers
to bring out the innovator in them. The
weeklong event was organised by the science
department of the school.
Despite the inclement and unfavourable
weather conditions, the enthusiasm of the
students remained high. More than 200
students demonstrated scientific models and
explained the cryptic scientific terms ,
effortlessly.
The projects ranged on broad spectrum of
topics like surface tension; magnetism, acid
rain, water harvesting; digestive system,
Pascal's law, Newton's Laws, Faraday's Laws;
geology; astronomy; ascent of sap, water
recycling, water harvesting, water
conservation, etc.
The projects were judged by a jury of twenty
judges. All the projects were good and the
efforts of the students are commendable
The judges were impressed by the way the
students explained the intricate concepts and
made them seem so simple.

Once upon a time there was a beautiful village in Northern

statue in the middle of the town. The King was holding a jug
and watering the plants which were below on the statue. One
day a cruel mouse came to the village name was Enko. He
was very bad and also by doing wrong things he made
everyone scared. One day he was walking on the road he saw
a cloth lying on the road, he stand there for some time and
saw that no one was picking up that cloth. After seeing cloth
he told himself, ”let me pick it up, it may come in use for
me”. After picking up the cloth he found that that the cloth
was very dirty and there were many tyre marks on it. He was
about to throw it but he stopped and thought, “what if I can
use it to make something”. After lot of thinking he decided
that he make a cap. Then he goes to the dry cleaner to wash
the dirty.
The dry cleaner replied,” if I won’t do it for you what will you
do to me small mouse” After listing to shopkeeper he started
laughing” Ha ha ha!” And said to shopkeeper that” I will
come in midnight with 4 king soldiers they will hit you and
lock you in the jail and I will eat up all your clothes and
everything that comes in my way.” Shopkeeper got scared and
said,” please leave me I will clean your cloth and it will look
like a new and unused cloth.”

angered and may destroy all his cloths.
After getting the cloth from drycleaner he went
to the tailor and asked him to stich the cloth into
a beautiful cap which can be fit on his head.
Tailor replied, “I will not do you work and go
from here silly small mouse. I am not mad to do
your work, you are so small and want a cap
which you can wear, go I will never stitch your
cap, what you will do small silly mouse.” Mouse
started laughing” ha ha ha ha” and told to tailor
“I will come in midnight with 4 soldiers they will
hit you and lock you in the jail and I will eat up
all your clothes and destroy them”. After that
tailor got worried and said sorry to mouse and

told Mouse sure I will make your Cap ready by

looks when it will ready and how color will come
on it. By the time he reaches home it was too dark,
so he slept.Next day morning he went to dyer shop
to collect his cap and what he found that shop is
still close, he was getting angry. Then he saw the
board where it was written the shop timing is
10AM to 11PM, and now it’s only 8AM, so he
thought let me go back to home and finish my bath
and take something to eat by that time shop will
also open. When watch ring 10AM, he ran toward
the dyer shop and asked dyer to give the cap,
shopkeeper told him that your cap is ready and let
