The Periodic Table.
What is the periodic table?
A periodic table is a table of the chemical elements arranged in order of atomic number, usually in rows, so that elements with similar atomic structure (and hence similar chemical properties) appear in vertical columns.
What does it tell us?
The periodic table, it also tells us how many protons an element has. An element has the same number of electrons as protons, so the atomic number also tells us the number of electrons. So you subtract the two and find that scandium has 24 neutrons.
