A Joint Multi-Country Projectin the Balkans

TEMPUS is the European Union’s programme whichsupports the reform and modernisation of highereducation in the EU's surrounding area throughinstitutional cooperation. It also aims to promotevoluntary convergence of the higher educationsystems in the Partner Countries with EUdevelopments in the field of higher education. Withregards to the Western Balkans, Tempus contributesto preparing the candidate and potentialcandidate countries for a participation in theintegrated Life Long Learning Programme.

The 3-year SPEED project (December 2013 –November 2016) has been developed by theUniversity of Rome “Foro Italico”, three universities inAlbania (Sports University of Tirana, University ofShkodra and University of Elbasan), the University ofPrishtina (Kosovo under UNSC resolution 1244/99)and three universities in Serbia (University ofBelgrade, University of Niš and University of Novi Sad),in partnership with three more universities in Europe(National & Kapodistrian University of Athens,University of Southern Denmark, University ofVienna).

Themainobjectives of this multi-country projectare:

to extend the academic reform in Sport Science,involving additional Western Balkan Universities andcountries, fostering curricula harmonisation in theWestern Balkans and with the European Union in linewith accession policies, promoting new teachingmethodologies and quality assurance, exchangesthrough mobility and ICT technology;

to develop a regional approach to Sport Sciencereflecting European standards and the manifoldimplications and potentialities of qualification insport, as related to education, employment,development (sport centres, events, tourism,health, social integration, etc.), with a joint,vocationally oriented, Master and Life-LongPrograms targeting Sport Science specialists, ableto meet diverse job market needs, according tolocal specificities and personal preference.

BALKANS (others)TEMPUSI është një Program i Bashkimit Evropian i cilimbështet reformimin dhe modernizimin e Arsimit teLartë, nëpërmjet bashkëpunimit institucional mevendet që synojnë të bëhen antarë të tij.Ai synon, gjithashtu, që të promovojë afrimin evullnetshëm të Sistemeve të Arsimit të Lartë në vendetpartnere me zhvillimet ne fushën e Arsimit të Lartë nëvendet e BE. Në raport me vendet e BallkanitPerëndimor, TEMPUSI kontribuon në përgatitjen evendeve kandidate dhe atyre potencialisht kandidatepër tu bërë antarë të BE, për një pjesmarrje nëProgramin e Integruar të Mësimit të Vazhdueshëm.Projekti 3 vjeçar SPEED (Dhjetor 2013-Nëndor 2016)është përgatitur nga Universiteti i Romës “Foro Italico”,nga tre Universitete në Shqipëri( Universiteti i Sporteve iTiranës, Universiteti i Shkodrës dhe Universiteti iElbasanit), nga Universiteti i Prishtinës (Kosova) dhe treUniversiteteve në Serbi (Universiteti i Beogradit,Universiteti i Nishit dhe Universiteti i Novi Sadit).Ky projekt ka partneritetin edhe të tre Universiteteve tëtjera të Evropës (Universiteti Kombëtar & Kapodistrian iAthinës, Universiteti i Danimarkës Jugore, Universiteti iVienës).Objektivat kryesorë të këtij projekti shumë shtetesh janë:1. Të zgjerojë reformën akademike në ShkencatSportive, duke përfshirë vende dhe Universitete të tjeratë Ballkanit Perëndimor, duke synuar harmonizimin ekurrikulave në Ballkanin Perëndimor me ato të BashkimitEvropian në drejtim të politikave të përfshirjes,promovimit të metodologjive të reja të mësimit dhesigurimit të cilësisë, si dhe shkëmbimin e përvojësnëpërmjet vizitave reciproke dhe teknologjive tëkomunikimit në distancë.2. Të zhvillojë një këndvështrim rajonal të ShkencaveSportive që reflekton standartet Evropiane dhedrejtimet e potencialet kryesore të kualifikimit në sport,të lidhura me edukimin, punësimin, zhvillimin (qendratsportive, aktivitete, turizëm, shëndet, integrim social,etj.). Kjo do të arrihet me një program të integruarMasteri Profesional dhe të Vazhdueshëm, që përfshinspecialistët e Shkencave Sportive. Ky program duhet tëjetë në gjendje të plotësojë nevojat e tregut të punës,në përputhje me specifikën lokale dhe preferencatpersonale.
