In the early year of 1919, Allied delegates had met for a Paris Peace Conference.

Prime Minister Borden had insisted that Canada should be a separate nation considering all of its war efforts..

US were not happy with the idea of Canada having the right to vote, and become a separate nation

Treaty of Versailles included; Paris, France, Britain &USCanada had sent a separate delegation and had become

independent of Britain but were still unable to voteGermany opposed on the terms of the treaty and had

refused to sign it

Germany opposed Germany alleged that the treaty violated

many of the 14 points and gave impossible economic burdens.

The allies denied and only gave minor changes to the draft.

Germany was then forced to sign the treaty.

Germany Gives InGermany was forced to pay reparations for all

the damage that happened during the war.Germany also agreed to compensate the

allies.They paid billions of dollars to the allies.The United States then withdrew from the

treaty and demanded twice the amount of money they had before.

Treaty of Versailles.

The Treaty of Versailles was signed on June 28, 1919 as an end of World War 1. This treaty was to ensure that Germany was being punished for there foolish acts. A League of Nations was set up to solve diplomatic problems. This soon ended up being a cause of World War 2 because it left a legacy of political and geographical difficulties.
