Why use video?
1. Audio-visual stimulation is highly motivating for students.
2. It gives authenticity to the language the students are exposed to.
3. It makes learning easier – the setting, actions and gestures aid
comprehension.
4. Visual and auditory skills can be exercised as separate practises.
5. We can use it to practise vocabulary, grammar, phrasing and
situational understanding.
