Position Summary
The Facilities Housekeeper is responsible for assisting in the day-to-day functions of the Gardens including
custodial and housekeeping duties. A successful candidate must have the ability to communicate e�ectively with
sta� of all levels and interact with Garden guests in a cheerful and positive manner. They must be able to work
independently and without supervision.
Responsibilities
• Must be able to walk the Garden campus in most weather conditions and lift 35 pounds.
• Clean and maintain multiple buildings including, but not limited to, cleaning and sanitizing restrooms,
public areas, and kitchens, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, cleaning windows, and emptying trash.
• Set and maintain a high standard for the appearance of the interior and exterior of all buildings and
public areas on a daily basis.
• Perform duties e�ciently and e�ectively to include proper and safe use of cleaning supplies.
• Monitor upcoming event sites to evaluate needed additional housekeeping attention.
• Order and inventory all supplies needed to maintain facilities.
Qualifications
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of four years of related work experience.
