We would like to express our gratitude to everyone that has put their energy and enthusiasm into organizing this great tourna-ment.

The goal for today is to help young talent reach their goals and dreams, because together you will always be stronger than alone.

Announce-ments

• The 23rd ‘Rabobank Tournament U13’ is organized by Voetbalvereni-ging Lunteren en will take place on Saturday the 20th of May 2017 on ‘Sportpark De Wormshoef’ in Lunteren.

• The Tournament will start at 9.00 and the trophies will be handed out around 18.00.

• A lunch is included for all players, it will be served in on the grounds behind the main stands (‘Damvereniging D.E.S’)

• Lunch for coaches and other sta� will be served in Hotel ‘De Worms-hoef’, information will be provided by the tournament organization.

• A First Aid team will be present at the grounds.• We ask all coaches/managers to please collect all valuables from the

players and keep them in a safe location.• Please make sure to read the Tournament rules carefully, they can be

read on page 24 and 25 of this guide.

Dear Football Friends,

It has been 23 years (1994) since the � rst edition of this tournament was organized by Voetbalvereniging Lunteren.The goal back then was to become one of the leading Under 13 tourna-ments in the Netherlands. Looking at the clubs participating this year, we can safely say that the goal was reached. We are very excited that we, in addition to players and coaches from the youth teams of several of Holland’s biggest professional and amateur clubs, can also give a warm welcome to several football friends from abroad.

We will do everything in our power to make sure everything proceeds smoothly on tournament day, but if you have any complaints or suggestions you can always talk to our tournament commission.

Lastly, we would like to wish everybody a very successful, entertaining and sportive Rabobank Tournament U13!

cup• The challenge cup will be permanently given to any club that either

wins the tournament three times in a row, or � ve times in total• Every team will receive a trophy• The winner, the runner up and the third place � nisher will be given a

gold, silver and bronze medal.• An individual award for the best player of the tournament.• An individual award for the best goalkeeper of the tournament• A Fair Play trophy for the team that shows the highest level of Sports-

Announce-ments Tournament Regulations

1. All games will be played according to KNVB regulations2. Players are only eligible to play in the ‘23rd Rabobank Tournament

U13’ if they have been born a� er December 31st 2003.3. Before the tournament starts, the manager of each team needs

to sign in with the tournament organization. A list containing the names, date of birth and shirt number of a maximum of 20 players needs to be supplied.

4. A club membership card has to be supplied for each player if the organization asks for such a card.

5. The group phase of the tournament will commence with 4 groups of 4 teams. These teams will play each other once. A� er the group phase, a bracket is formed as indicated in the tournament guide.

6. All games will last 25 minutes, with no half-time or breaks.7. Teams � nishing � rst and second in their groups will continue to play

for place 1-8. Teams � nishing third and fourth in their poules will continue to play for place 9-16.

8. When the group stage is � nished and two teams ended with the same number of points, the following order will be kept to decide which team � nished at which place: Goal Di� erence - Most Goals scored - Result of Match between teams - Penalty kicks

9. Per team, � ve penalty kicks will be taken by � ve di� erent players (in the area behind the main stands). If there is no winner a� er 5 penalty kicks per team, the teams will take turns taking 1 penalty kick each until there is a winner.

10. If a game ends in a draw in the knockout stages of the tournament, penalty kicks will be taken right a� er the game � nishes.

11. The team that is mentioned � rst in the tournament bracket will de-fend the goal closest to the clubhouse, this team will kick-o� as well. If the games is played on the � eld with arti� cial grass, the team that is mentioned � rst will defend the goal closest to the stands.

12. Substitutions can only take place when there is a break in play and only when the referee gives a sign that the substitution can take place.

13. All games will be refereed by a referee and two linesmen.

14. All teams are obliged to bring a set of backup jerseys, of a colour that is clearly di� erent from their normal jerseys. If needed, the team that is mentioned � rst in the bracket will have to wear their backup jerseys.

15. If a player gets send o� , this player will be suspended for the next game (unless the tournament committee decides otherwise)

16. VV Lunteren cannot be held responsible or liable for any accidents, damages or missing property.

17. Challenges to rulings cannot be submitted18. If it should occur that the tournament regulations do not su� ce, the

Tournament Commission will make a decision.
