YRT REMEMBRANCE DAY TRANSIT SERVICE FOR VETERANSIn honour of Remembrance Day, YRT and Mobility Plus is offering free transit service to veterans, and one companion and immediate family members of deceased veterans.Veterans are asked to show a uniform, medal, beret or blazer to drivers to ride for free. Immediate family members of deceased veterans may ride for free by presenting an item that identifies their relationship like identification cards or service papers. HistoryIn May 2018, Council passed the updated Zoning By-Law. There are four appeals to the by-law remaining. These four appeals include three specific properties, as well as a Town-wide appeal related to the proposed Environmental Protection zone. These appeals are being reviewed by the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal (LPAT) and will be discussed at a case management conference.
