My uncle, Rfn Wilfred (Bill) J. Jones, 1st Bn. The Rifle Brigade, prisoner number 9969, was captured in Calais, on the 26th of May 1940.
He was in Stalag VIIIB and Stalag VIIIC 4010. He was also in various working parties including E 243, Breslau gasworks, E 198, E 154, coal mine, from 1940-45.
Collensdorf, Nr Patschkau, E154, 1941Bill, is seated in the middle of the middle row.
