WATER POLO
Congratulations to our Wagga Wagga Public
School boys who are representing the
Riverina at PSSA Water Polo this week. We
look forward to them sharing their stories
and hopefully successes on their return.
DEBATING
Our girls debating team , who are already the
Riverina Champions are this week taking part
in a 3 day camp which will culminate in the
State Championships. We wish them luck
and await news of their further
achievements.
…...to Matt Brassil, Aaron Campbell, Wendy
Harper, Sarah Blanch and their children who
attended last Saturday’s working bee. Even
though light in numbers, they were able to
replenish the mulch and stones in the Infants
nature playground.
….. to the families who supported our Book
Fair last week. Your patronage goes a long way
to us gaining commission to purchase new
resources for our school library. Thank you
also to Mrs Nielson and Mrs Hamblin for their
organisation and time.
BEST OF LUCK to all students competing in WAGGA WAGGA PUBLIC SCHOOL’S
This event will be held at school on Friday and the
time and effort the students and their teacher
mentors have put into their performances is to be
applauded. CONGRATULATIONS to everyone
involved.
Have a great week.
Leanne

SRC Wacky
Wednesday On Wednesday 23rd November, (Week 7) the SRC have decided
to hold a ‘Wacky Wednesday’ dress up day inspired by Dr Seuss’
‘Wacky Wednesday’ storybook.
Students can come dressed in wacky and odd clothing or with
wacky hairstyles. If your child is swimming on Wednesday, please
do not put coloured hairspray in their hair. Whilst we
encourage students to dress a little wacky, please remember to
dress your child appropriately for the weather and with suitable
footwear.
There is no cost involved in Wacky Wednesday.
Thanks,
SRC committee

KINDERGARTEN
CELEBRATION
DAY
FRIDAY, 18 NOV
Alice Robinson has been nominated this week for ‘In the Spotlight’ for being kind and friendly. She
is a good listener who always helps the other students and teachers at Wagga Public School.
How do you help the other children at school? When they are on the computer and need help I can show them what to do. I also help people when they fall over, I take them to the teacher on duty.
How do you help out in the classroom and playground? I help some of the other children read a question when they are having trouble. I can also help them when they don’t understand the question.
What do you do to help your family when you are at home? I do some of the jobs. I help put the dirty dishes in the sink and dry up. Sometimes I feed our dog, Pip.
What do you like best about Wagga Public School? I really like our new infants playground, my favourite part is the stepping stones. Our new COLA is great because we have more shelter when it’s raining and we have room to move about.
What is your favourite book and why? Alice Miranda because she is nice and she re-minds me of myself. She helps people and she’s brave.
What would you like to do when you finish
school?
I would like to teach at Wagga Public. I would
teach Years 2 and 3.
