GETTING AROUND

THE A.R. PROGRAMThis Accelerated Reader program helps students find books at their reading comfort zone and through comprehension quizzes they receive points and incentives to continue the love of reading. It has been proven that students have increased their overall reading comprehension by doing this program.

Classroom meeting zoneThis area is available throughout the day for full classes and small group work. Go to the sign up section of the library to book your time!!

Reference SectionThe library has a

wide selection of encyclopedias, dictionaries, almanacs, yearbooks and other reference materials for everyone's use.

Non-Fiction Books Students and

teachers can choose from many thousands of newly purchased books in this section. If you are looking for a particular subject check the posters on the walls or ask the librarian.

Teacher Zone This area is especially

for you! There are many curriculum resources, evaluation materials, picture books, teacher magazines and personal interest books. You can also avail of the laminator, computers and printer!

Hours of operation The library is open for everyone from

Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 3:30pm every day!

Library Services Assistance with

checking in or out books.

Location of curriculum resources and personal interest materials.

Promotion of reading and information literacy skills to students.

Library Services Through collaborative

planning teachers and the teacher-librarian can create resource based units that engage all students and meet their individual needs.

The librarian can order any materials that you need for your courses!
