INVESTOR’S GUIDE /2

Kazakhstan has the ambitious goal of joining the top 30 developed countries of the world, therefore, we have taken comprehensive measures to develop the economy of our country. Such measures include fundamental reforms in the area of investment policies, which affect almost all aspects of investors’ activities: visa and migration policy, investment preferences, taxation, international trade, judicial system as well as investment security guarantees. As a result, Kazakhstan became an associate member of OECD Investment Committee and 48th country to join the OECD Declaration and Decisions on International Investment and Multinational Enterprises.

In order to increase investment attractiveness, we continue to improve production and transport infrastructure.

In accordance with the order of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Elbasy Nursultan Nazarbayev, in 2018, the functions of attracting investments were transferred to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Therefore, economic diplomacy was strengthened with a focus on attracting foreign investments in priority sectors of Kazakhstan economy. The government has clearly identified priority areas: where to attract investments, how and where to direct them. Therewith, we focus on specific countries, companies and conduct work to attract large investors.

DEAR LADIES AND GENTLEMEN!
