The Course Selection Process:Why is it so Important?

1. Students select their courses2. Individual course requests are

tallied3. The overall number of sections

needed in each course are calculated (7 sections of English 11)

The Course Selection Process:Why is it so Important?

5. Students are loaded into course sections based upon the choices they make in February.

6. Students wishing to change their choices at a later date may not be able to due to full classes.

The Course Selection Process:Why is accuracy so Important?

• This means that …• If you chose Biology in February and you

decide in June that you would like to take Photo you may not be able to because we scheduled for the Biology class.

• Despite Ms. Nickel’s immense talents she is not interested in teaching a Photo class.
