What does future mean?

• It means things, actions, and events that will happen in the future.

There are two ways to form the future

The first way is to use

Will

Use• When do we use “will”?

I am hungry. I will eatThis necklace is beautiful. I will buy it.

I am tired. I will have a nap.

On- the- spot decisions(without thinking)

Her teacher thinks she will be a great pianist one day.

Grandmother thinks that he will be a doctor like his father.

• Prediction based on what we think or imagine

-Stop talking or I will send you out.-Don’t speak or you will stand up.-You will hurt your back if you move this heavy sofa by yourself

• Threats or warnings

Ann will be two years old next month.

• Actions, events, situations which will definitely happen in the future and which we cannot control

• When do we use “be going to”?
