WHITE ROCK YMCA
Spring Program Guide
February 1-May 31, 2015
www.WhiteRockYMCA.org
WE’RE MORE
THAN A GYM.
The WHITE ROCK YMCA began offering
Day Camp, Educational Classes, and
Youth Programming back in 1955 and
has continued to be an important part
of the community. Today our
programs consist of activities for all
ages; from infants to youth and teens
to senior. The WHITE ROCK YMCA has
been impacting lives for years and I know we will
continue to do so for many more.
The YMCA is so much more than a place to work out,
with programs designed to enhance the Father/Child
relationship, or youth sports where kids learn
fundamentals and teamwork to teaching hundreds of
children how to swim, we are an integral part of the
community.
With the assistance of 50+ volunteers and hundreds of
members of our community, we hope to surpass our goal
of raising $200,000 for our Annual Campaign this year.
We use these funds to make sure that no one is turned
away due to inability to pay. This important promise is
only one of the many things that separate the Y from
other gym and swim facilities.
If you are thinking about joining the WHITE ROCK YMCA,
stop by our Welcome Center desk and ask for a free 7
day guest pass for yourself or a friend. We would love
to have you try one of our group exercise classes or use
any of our exercise equipment and see how the
YMCA can benefit you. Amenities include 80+ group
exercise classes a week, complimentary child watch,
numerous weight and cardio machines, and our
swimming pool! When you decide to join, we will have
you meet with one of our Wellness Coaches to make
sure you are on track to achieve your personal goals.
I hope you will take a few minutes to look through our
program guide and see all that the WHITE ROCK Y has
to offer. Welcome to our YMCA family!

talents, and treasure to ensure the
fulfillment of the mission of the YMCA.

Capital Campaign
Without the support of our community, the
dream of our new facility never could have
come to fruition. To those who have already
made their commitment to the WHITE ROCK
Y in the form of a donation, thank you.
To those who have not, it is not too late,
opportunities for giving are still plentiful.

opportunities involving our Capital
Campaign, please contact:

Annual Scholarship Campaign
Each year, dozens of WHITE ROCK YMCA
volunteers come together to raise funds to
that scholarships and income based
memberships are available to everyone in
our community. This year is no different,
with the support of our members and our
community we hope to raise $200,000 for
this worthy cause.
Everything dollar raised is then made
available so that children and families in
our community who otherwise would not
be able to afford participation in the Y are
allowed the same opportunities to get
healthy, play a sport, or learn to swim that
more fortunate families have.
Whether you are able to donate $1 per
month or $1,000 per month, we ask you to
please look into your hearts and give a
personally significant gift. Unable to
donate, but still want to help? Please
consider volunteering as a campaigner, be
our “boots on the ground” and help us as
we do our best to help others.
All donations from families, businesses,
sports teams, Adventure Guides Circles, or
any other group of $1,000 or more will be
prominently recognized throughout our
new YMCA.
