Who am I? -A story about Ernest

It was a glorious day in the jungle. However, Ernest was left all by

himself. He wondered, “where is my family?”

Just then Clarence the caterpillar crawled on by to see Ernest by himself. He asked what was wrong when Ernest said he could

not find his family!

Clarence told him he would help! So off they went on an adventure to find his family.

They looked high, they looked low. They

searched and searched for what

seemed like hours but still no luck!

As night began to fall, Ernest was ready to give up…he had a funny feeling in his bottom.

Shocked, Clarence loudly proclaims, “Ernest! I know what you are. You are a glow worm. I know just where to find your

family.”

So off they went. Ernest was so excited to finally meet his whanau.

Clarence shouted, “we’re here!”Ernest looked around, and to his amazement, the cave was lit

up light the beautiful night sky.

“Yay! My family! This is where I belong,” said Ernest.Ernest and his family glowed together all night in

happiness.
