WHY AM I MISSING IMPORTANT INFORMATION?Updating your e-mail address in Naviance

MISSING ALL OF THE IMPORTANT INFORMATION YOUR ACADEMY COUNSELOR, COLLEGE READINESS COUNSELOR, AND COLLEGE ADVISOR SEND YOU THROUGH NAVIANCE?

Follow these steps to update your e-mail address in Naviance. Remember to CHECK YOUR E-MAIL every week so you don’t miss anything important!

STEP ONE:

Find the Quicklinks drop-down menu on the Austin ISD homepage

STEP TWO:

Scroll down through the Quicklinks choices and click on NAVIANCE

STEP THREE:

Scroll down and Click on Akins. Hint: It’s by the eagle!

STEP FOUR:Login with your Naviance username and password. For most students, this should be just your student ID number (NO “S”) for BOTH your username and password. Some students might need to sign in with their normal student login and password. See your academy counselor if you have trouble logging into Naviance.

STEP FIVE:Once logged in, CLICK on the “ABOUT ME” tab at the top of the screen.

STEP SIX:

Scroll down and CLICK on “Profile” under “Official Things”

STEP SEVEN:CLICK on the pencil icon to add or update your e-mail adress
