FESTIV

AL!

This Festival celebrates our W

illis Pipe Organ being fully

restored after a decade of fundraising!

Pipe sponsorship

and m

usic events

have funded delightful, new additions

to the organ which gives it an unique,

full bodied

and ethereal

sound. But w

hat makes this such a special instrum

ent and this particular festival so historic? W

ell, Henry W

illis’s family

firm is to organ building w

hat Rolls-Royce is to cars. Henry

Willis organs grace buildings such as H

ereford, Lincoln and Salisbury Cathedral. The W

illis legacy is internationally know

to be without equal – crafted from

the highest quality m

aterials and boldly yet beautifully voiced, creating a delightful sound for both perform

er and listener.

This is our fourth Willis Pipe O

rgan Festival. The first three Festivals w

ere part of our fundraising programm

e for the full restoration of the organ. A total of £250,000 later, here w

e are, fully refurbished, in glorious voice and, most

importantly, com

plete for the first time ever!

With three very special evening events – organ pops,

silent movie and m

asterworks – plus free daytim

e talks, w

orkshops and recitals, there’s something for everyone

in the Festival programm

e. Bring the family and find out

more about this very special pipe organ.
