1. Tryptics
The Sea Fish tryptic was exhibited at the Wallace Morrinsville Gallery (picture above). It is composed of 3 individual Acrylic on canvas pieces, each 90 X 90 cm – hence total dimension is 270 X 90 cm.
It represents the fragile ecosystem of the sea. Detail of the left piece below:

The second Tryptic is the Blue Autumn Forest, Water colour on canvas. Each piece measures 76 X 51 cm, which all together takes up 228 X 51 cm wall space.
Detail of the left piece below:

2. Houses and towns I love painting urban landscapes. I find that many architects and designer clients enjoy them too!! I also paint houses in future climate change settings because it is easier for people to avoid thinking about climate change, so showing the images I have in my mind about what our landscapes would look like with extreme climate is what I do. The below is called Turbulence (Acrylic on canvas, 120 X 70 cm)
Tornadoes (Acrylic on canvas, 210 X 70 cm)

The next painting is a 3D work painted on an unframed canvas and comes with its flexible frame (see photo below). It is called Two out of Two and represents the two buildings with the most floors in Auckland – which will be the only left standing after the sea level water rises… (Acrylic on loose canvas, 150 X 63 cm). It was selected for a Waikato Society of Arts exhibition called Creativity Squared in 2010.

This Bahai Temple in Haifa rises above everything, including pollution (Acrylic on canvas, 70 X 120 cm). In the following 3 paintings, temples from different cities (Haifa and Jerusalem) are specifically juxtaposed on the same canvas.
The next two works also represent Bahai temples painted in Acrylic on loose unframed canvas (resp. 60 X 40 cm and 47 X 61 cm).

The next two works are of houses by the seaside. Whilst houses by the beach are sought after properties, if the sea levels rise as predicted, these houses will be soon under water! The inspiration for the Yelling for Help painting below (Acrylic on canvas, 120 X 70 cm) came from watching a TV documentary on the Maldives where a woman was standing knee high in water in the room that was her kitchen only the year before…
Invisible Dangers (Acrylic on canvas, 133 X 102 cm)

3. Landscapes and animals It is a cliché that our gorgeous natural world needs to be protected – but if it is so obvious, then why do we need to say it? The below is called real FLECTIONS, because one does not know anymore what is real and what is the product of our reflection (Acrylic on canvas mounted on corrugated iron, total dimension 150 X 70 cm). It was a finalist in the 2009 Waikato Society of Arts, National Youth Art Award.

4. Abstracts These are designs and shapes I use in celebration of colour. Ice Cap Melting (Acrylic on canvas, 133 X 102 cm) is self-‐explanatory…
Then again, one could represent the same concept with different shapes… Blues (Acrylic on canvas, 50 X 60 cm) is its little brother…
