3 Select the “Rectangle” tool

Plot a rectangle on the sketch panel4

5 Select the “Dimension” tool

6Dimension each side to 100mm

7 Select “Finish Sketch” and press F6

8 Choose “Extrude” and enter 100mm as the distance in the dialogue box

9 Select “OK” when you can see this 3D cube.

10 To sketch on a face we need to select the “Create 2D sketch” icon andselect the face on which we want to sketch.

11 It’s easier to draw on the face if we can view it straight on. To do that we select the “View Face” icon and select the face we want to look at.

12 Use the “Circle” tool to draw a circle on the top left of the cube.

13 And now Dimension to the sizes shown below

14 We can use the “Rectangular Pattern” tool to duplicate the circle on both the vertical and horizontal axes.

Select the circle you want to copy and enter the relevant information into the dialogue box.

15 Select the sections you wish to extrude; in this case we will be sketchingnumber 5 on the dice, and extrude to 3mm.

Cut material away

To a distance of 3mm

Repeat these steps for the other numbers on the dice.

16 Use the “Fillet” tool to round off the edges of the dice.

Select the edges of the cube. Change the Radius to 5mm.

Do the same for the outer and inner parts of the circles, however this timeset the radius to 3mm.
