● Your IPAD needs come to school each day with you and be fully charged!

● You will be accessing StudentVue for your schedule and Canvas Classroom for your assignments.

● Breakfast is served in the CAFETERIA from 7:45 to 8:10am

● Learning begins at 8:15am.

● Each class period is about 65 minutes of learning time.

● You have 4 minutes to get to your next class.

Daily Advisory Period

● At the beginning of the 3rd Instructional block, you will be participating in an ADVISORY Period.

● This time will be used for the following activities:○ Monday - Restorative

Justice Community Building○ Tuesday - Book Study○ Wednesday - Check

In/Study Hall○ Thursday - School

Happenings○ Friday - Wellness Day

MOST grade 6 classes are in the 100 rooms and grade 7 and 8 classes are in the 200 rooms.

6th Grade Zone!

Most of the 6th grade classes are located on the lower level (100 room numbers).● Math● World Studies● English ● Spanish● Music● Health

Mrs. Sigley, (Assistant Principal) office is located in the 6th Grade area - Room 109.

Classrooms/offices are identified with room numbers and door signs.

Science, Art, Reading and ESOL classes for grade 6 are located on the Main Floor.

7th/8th Grade Zones

7th/8th grade classes are located on the main floor (200 room numbers) except for Health, Music and Geometry.

The Health Room and Counseling Office are located on the main level in the hallway beside the Main Office.

Question 7:

You will have 1 hour to eat your lunch and go to recess.

Lunch● We have 3 lunch

periods that happen during the third block.

● You may have a DIFFERENT lunch time each day depending upon the class you have during the 3rd instructional block.

Lunch

The lunch period is 30 minutes long.

You may purchase a school lunch or bring a lunch from home.

You have 10 to 15 minutes of “free time” during the lunch block AFTER eating and are encouraged to spend some time outside in the fresh air.

You may also visit the Media Center to check out books.

You may seek additional help from a teacher or counselor.

What time is the end of the school day?

DISMISSAL● You are dismissed from

class at 3:00pm to catch a bus or get picked up by a parent.

● If you stay for after school activities you will report to the Cafeteria for snack.
