• Full endorsement program delivered in 3 semesters
• Courses delivered online/hybrid format or off-campus at TCESC or another area school for maximum convenience
• Compressed classroom meeting time, supplemented by online activities and instruction
Program delivery
• 5 courses (15 semester hours)
• 3 of the courses include fieldwork which can be completed in your own classroom, building, or district
• Open first to licensed teachers with current full-time positions
• Must pass the Praxis 0204 Teaching Reading Exam to apply for endorsement or state-mandated test

TERG 6928Practicum: Case Study in Reading and Language Arts
• Application to the Reading Master’s program is required for participation in this cohort.
• Completion of the Master’s is not required to receive the endorsement.
• Completed forms, recommendations, and non-YSU transcripts should be sent directly to the department by email or snail mail, designated as “Trumbull Cohort.”
• Do not apply through the online portal.
Application process
• If previously admitted as Y.S.U. graduate student, complete readmission form.
• If not, complete application form and include a check to Y.S.U. for the application fee ($30)
• 3 recommendations
• Transcripts of non-YSU work only.
