All these blackline masters can be completed in a variety of ways. Below are some hints and tips for

each page to help you get the most out of your blackline masters. These activities will equip children

with important skills like colouring, cutting, gluing, folding, constructing and creative thinking. For

3D PyramidScissors and glue or tape will be required to complete this activity. For

best results, copy this blackline master onto cover paper.

Decorate the pyramid with pencils, pastels, paint, markers or paper.

Alternatively cover the pyramid in glue and generously sprinkle with

yellow or orange sand. Once complete, cut the pyramid out and

fold along the dotted lines. Glue or tape the tabs to the sides of the

pyramid to hold it together. These pyramids look great as an addition

to an Egyptian theme diorama!

Egyptian Cartouche and HieroglyphsScissors and glue will be required to complete this activity. For best

results, copy this blackline master onto cover paper.

This activity sheet includes an Egyptian alphabet (hieroglyphs) and

a name tag (cartouche). Paint the cartouche with gold paint and

allow to dry. Cut out the hieroglyphs and write your name or a secret

message and glue it onto the cartouche. Glue the cartouche onto a

piece of coloured cover paper. Get your friends to try and work out

what you have written on your cartouche.

Egyptian Colouring SheetColour in with pencils, pastels, paint or markers. Use colours

traditionally used by Ancient Egyptians like yellow, green, blue, black

and white.

Egyptian Falcon PectoralScissors, gold paint and rhinestones will be required to complete this

activity. For best results, copy this blackline master onto cover paper.

Paint the falcon in gold paint and allow it to dry. Choose some rhine-

stones and glue to the falcon. To make the falcon into a necklace,

punch holes in the top of the wings and attach elastic or string to the

holes.
