1. Introduction

• This study looks on how students evaluate the use of e-learning tools (particularly edmodo) gives impact to the quality of teaching and learning.

INTERACTIVE ON THE GO!

Statement of Problem

• Teaching non-engineering course to the engineering students requires interactive e-learning tools and technology oriented interaction rather than traditional learning approach (James L. Cooper & Ball, 2003).

• According to Kenkonen-moneta & Moneta in Hong Kong, students used e-learning tools outperformed those in traditional classes (Kekkonen-moneta, Bay, Kong, & Moneta, 2000).

• This research investigates on how edmodo as e-learning tool can further enhance engineering students understanding and interaction inside and outside class and teaching and learning performance particularly the non-engineering/university core courses .

Research Gap

• Edmodo is one of the e-learning tools used as e-learning platform to enhance teaching and learning of the university core courses in UMP namely Ethnic Relations, Soft Skills and Islamic and Asian Civilization which are non-engineering courses in nature.

Edmodo Main Page

• E-pat is the acronym of the Universiti Malaysia Pahang online teaching evaluation by the students known as Penilaian Pengajaran Oleh Pelajar Secara Atas Talian (e- PAT).
