The Camporelli Biscuit factory is a business dedicated to the production of the typical “Biscuits of Novara”. According to the legend many years ago they were called “Biscuits of the Nuns” or “Biscuits of San Gaudenzio”, the patron of the city. After the French Revolution, they fell in disuse, but a group of nuns continued the production for themselves. In 1852 the Camporelli family began the commercialization of the product, improving the quality. Today the recipe is still the same as it was in the past.

The biscuits of Novara are a fatfree high energy food easy to digest.

Made with eggs, sugar and flour, they are very good for children, elderly and sickly people. These biscuits are perfect with milk, tea, coffee and delicious if they are soaked in wine or chocolate.
