my personal goal in teaching (bachelor students):

CULTIVATING ENGAGEMENT"

1st things 1st:

higher goal: "towards self-realisation*,

through self-efficacy**

*self-realisation: Fulfilment by oneself of the possibilities of one's character or personality.

**self-efficacy is the extent or strength of one's belief in one's own ability to complete tasks and reach goals

I believe ENGAGEMENT"

is the optimum state in which someone is willing and able to

learn while reaching goals "

As a teacher I feel responsible to create this optimum learning

ENVIRONMENT

agility is a means to

cultivate that ENVIRONMENT

“get engaged, startup yourself

and learn to the best of your

natural capabilities”

USING:

lean, agile &startup

FRAMEWORKS (MINDSETS)

when education beomes a backlog that ‘teachers’ co-

create with students, a new

edu framework can emerge…

example

1/2

2/2

BACKLOG EXAMPLEEDUCATIONAL VALUES

The student has control over his study programme• ‘definition of done’ wil be co-

created • like within agile there is no solid

‘definition of how’, so students can accomplish values in way’s they do best

SHARING BACKLOG’s"!

this edu-framework can at least share

educational values between educators

world wide

end trough that edu can adapt to relevance, effectiveness and

quality to an ever more rapidly changing word

statement #1:"I feel the need to reflect

my own educational programmes,

with agility-stakeholders

problem- vs solution-discovery:"edu challenges vs ‘agile’ solutions

‘agile’ is incorporating 21st century

EDU-AMBITIONS"!

(most of them implicitly, like a free bonus!)

statement #2:"I feel the need to share these out-of-this-world-

advantages. For the sake of learning (our human purpose?)

‘agile’ can connect the 21st century edu-goals

there needs to be an open place where:

!• EDUCATORS CAN BE INSPIRED, SO THEY CAN ENVISION HOW

THEIR GOALS COULD BE SERVED THROUGH ‘AGILE’

• EDUCATORS CAN LEARN HOW TO CONNECT THEIR GOALS

WITH ‘AGILE’

• EDUCATERS CAN LEARN ABOUT ‘AGILE’

• EDUCATERS CAN SHARE THERE ‘AGILE’ OUTCOMES AND

CHALLENGES
