CREATE HIS CIRQUE CALDER, A MINIATURE CIRCUS FASHIONED FROM WIRE, STRING, RUBBER, CLOTH, AND OTHER FOUND OBJECTS.

He was a son and grandson of sculptors and his mother was a painter.

He studied mechanical engineering.

He lived between France and the United States.

He received great influence of abstract European artists as Joan Miro, Jean Arp y Piet Mondrian.
