• You must pay attention during the reading and film to improve your chances

Passing Options

• C, B, A on test = Write 500-word essay comparing three vivid parallels between Animal Farm and Russian Revolution (for up to 100 points)

• A on test = – Essay may compare AF to modern times– Create a multimedia video essay comparing AF to

either Russian Revolution, modern times, or both

Other Options

• F on test = 350-word reflective essay on why you failed and what could help you do better next time (for 50 points)

• D on test = Write a 250 – 300-word essay comparing Stalin to Napoleon (for 65 points)

Multimedia Option

• Using the presentation/animation software and websites of your choice, create an artistic collage of comparisons between Animal Farm and the real world throughout history; you may include the Russian Revolution and other events.– Images and video clips must tell the story– Must have a soundtrack– Text and subtitles will be used to clarify– 3 – 5 minutes in length with Title and End Credits– Can be done with a partner(s)
