“It angers me when after hundreds of years of importing aspects of other people’s culture some politician in a 4,000-ringgit Italian suit complains

about Western values and such-and-such a thing is not from our culture. Our culture is everybody else’s

culture. We’ve never had our own. Deal with it and grow up."

PARODYBy Malaysian Blogger Ken

Wooi

Your all-time favorite blogger – Ken Wooi

“I’m gonna do Malaysia proud and spend the Government’s enormous

RM62.5mil wisely alright? Blast off on a spaceship, do some cool

experiments, lepak and I’ll be back!”, Ken said on a recent interview.

Anyway, for this mission, Ken Wooi will stay in the ISS so that he can carry out certain experiments.

Some of the experiments would be…

Blogging in space.

Assisting technical astronauts at ISS to set up a Malaysian web hosting service in space.

After the project is completed, it will be declared as the first Space Web Hosting under the Malaysia Book of Records.

Test the wireless broadband speed of Malaysian Streamyx from the space station.

Stick 1Malaysia logo stickers on the solar panels of the ISS. The 1Malaysia dream will be finally in space! Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib

Tun Razak will be so proud!

Perform Malaysian’s favourite Teh Tarik stunt in space. Another entry into the Malaysia Book of Records!

Plant Malaysia’s Jalur Gemilang flag on the moon.

Plant Malaysia’s Jalur Gemilang flag on the moon.

Once again, let’s not forget that at least US$20mil (RM62.5mil) is needed

to fund the project.

What a way to spend the Government’s money and why so

much?

Well, it’s because…

No one can deny that!

Okay, jokes aside. What do you think? RM62.5mil just for just a space project?

“Just because the government got no money doesn’t mean we want to

shake legs only.”

“And so, my fellow

Americans: ask not what your country can do for you — ask what you can do for your country.”

John F. Kennedy's Inaugural Address, January 20, 1961

“ We have the might, and we have the right, and we will not hesitate to fight for the right to our might, and our might alone.

We want to remind the people of Malaysia of the words of a great American president, who said, “Ask not what your country can do for you; rather ask what our country can do to your country. “

11

“ First they want to attack our currency, make us poor. Now they want to tell us what to do.

They think they can tell the Malaysian don’t have the bomb. They think they can tell the Pakistan don’t have the bomb. Why don’t they listen when we tell them don’t have the bomb? The Malaysian people are loyal….. (…) They will listen to the wisdom of their leaders and not these foreign meddlers.”

“We knew the world would not be the same. A few people laughed, a few

people cried, most people were silent. I

remembered the line from the Hindu scripture, the

Bhagavad-Gita. Vishnu is trying to persuade the

Prince that he should do his duty and to impress him takes on his multi-armed form and says, "Now, I am become

Death, the destroyer of worlds." I suppose we all thought that one way or

another.”

J.Robert Oppenheimer, Trinity, 1945

"Behold! For I am become Shiva, Shatterer of Worlds!”

Bhagavad-Gita

"Now, I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds.”

J.Robert Oppenheimer

“A world is a big thing to eat.

I decided to stick with being Mary Yuen, the

eater of popiah. ”

11

Yuen’s plan of sabotage

“The act of observation changes that which is being observed, said Heisenberg”

Who said it?

11

“If you want to determine the position and the momentum of an electron, you have a problem. You can’t. The reason is because once you get a reading on the position, and the momentum changes. Once you get a reading on the momentum, you can’t fix the position. THE ACT OF OBSERVATION CHANGES THAT WHICH IS BEING OBSERVED”

Werner Heisenberg, Uncertainty Principle

“Why does she sabotage her country’s plan to make an atomic bomb and yet continues her research of

weaponry in USA?”

Epilogue

There is a site where US always test their bomb at. It was later use as a

name of a type of garment.

Can you name the garment?
