BASIC TOOLS KIT

INTRODUCTION

This unit covers the basic computer assembling. As the components of a computer vary based on the requirement, to make learning simpler, you start by uninstalling a PC. Just by removing the individual components from the PC, you can identify the common hardware devices. Identify the motherboard slot for each component . Install the components one by one and set up a working PC .

NOSE PLIERSO Is used to removed

components that are very small in the computer and those components that are difficult to remove manually . It is also used to removed the expansion slot shutter

WRIST STRAPO Is used to

prevent any damage that can be caused by static electricity

SCREWDRIVERO Is the most

commonly used tool to remove or fix screw

TEST PENO Is used to detect

the presence of electric current

IC PULLERSO Is used to

removed the removable integrated circuits from the circuit board . IC puller is used to pull removable IC from the circuits board

Anti-Static MatO An anti-static floor

mat or ground mat is an anti-static device that safeguards an individual or piece of equipment like a PC from an electrostatic discharge (ESD).
