DESCRIPTION
Big Data is the big story across the world today, in marketing, in research, in debates about privacy, amongst IT experts and increasingly amongst the general public. Andrea Doyon will explain why the issue is becoming so important to business, politicians and social commentators, what companies and countries are doing to take advantage of the new tools and data sources, and why ICCA members need to develop their own strategies and investment plans. A panel of ICCA members will highlight Big Data projects they have recently become aware of and will react to the content of Andrea's presentation, after which there will be a wide-ranging open debate on the implications and opportunities.
