CHARTING A NEW COURSE… Because the learning is in the

journey.

You CAN touch this!

Vs.

Surrender the need for

familiarity.

“Technology is just a tool. In terms of getting the kids working together and motivating them, the

teacher is most important.”–Bill Gates

“There can be infinite uses of the computer and of new age

technology, but if teachers themselves are not able to bring it

into the classroom and make it work, then it fails.” –Nancy

Kassebaum

The Greater Risk lies in ignoring new

options!

Join the students in NOT always knowing the outcome.

Learning in tandem

is a far richer experience…

Trying out

new

options

must

become

routine.

Trying to learn in

the vicinity of an iPad

is like watching someone eat and

expecting to get full.

So, I’ll just sit here?

Real Learning is as active as playing. Kids are wired for lessons that engage them.

The iPad

allows each user

to intera

ct in their own way.

iPad as equalizer - We can all ask AND answer

questions…

It’s time to redefine “the box”.

At its core, the iPad is a way of communicating.

FOCUS on the MEANS, not the end -

One lesson always leads to another.

“We need technology in every classroom and in every student and teacher’s hand, because it is the pen and paper of our time, and it is the lens through which we experience much of our world.” – David Warlick

I’ve only just begun… to swipe.
