DESCRIPTION

This presentation, prepared for Information Today's "Computers in Libraries 2011 Conference" in Washington, DC (March 21 - 23, 2011), is the first of three exploring the development of social learning centers as a proposed "Fourth Place" after Ray Oldenburg's original three (home, work, and "the great good place" comprised of community meeting places.
