Collage can be real or abstract.Make a background first, then select pieces for color as much

as for ‘idea.’

The collage must have:1. A “light” source 2. Rhythm through repetition of:

• triangles, squares, circles • parallel wavy lines• zigzagging lines• positive and negative shapes • including at least one silhouette

3. One large shape created by overlapping smaller of shapes of a similar color
