On May 12, 2008 a catastrophic earthquake destroyed or severely damaged over 8000 schools and displaced millions of school children in Sichuan Province, China.

CTEF created the Earthquake Relief Fund to rebuild schools and communities and help school children in the earthquake impacted areas.

Partnering with InterGlow, CTEF has been supporting the 512 NGO service center to provide much needed volunteer training and coordination services for immediate relief work.

CTEF has committed to fund 4 pre-fabricated school rooms to help children quickly get back to school.

CTEF has agreed to provide over $100K USD to rebuild Zhengshankou Center School in Meishan, Sichuan, that was damaged by the earthquake, enabling over 450 students to go back to school.

CTEF has been helping school children and renovating school buildings in 10 provinces in China since 2001.• funded over $700k USD• 95 school building projects• impacting the lives of more than 45,000 children
