This is the eBook

This is the audiobook. It will work on eReaders with audio capabilities, but you don’t read it, it reads to you.

Just like paper books, popular titles will have holds and you may have to wait for the electronic copy to be available. Look for “Add to my eCart” for titles that are available for download right now. Or click “Place an eHold” to get in line for a popular title.

Clicking on the title will bring up more information about the book. Many titles even have the first chapter available to read before you commit. Click “Add to my eCart” to borrow the book.

Click “Continue Browsing” to add more electronic titles to your eCart or click “Proceed to Checkout”

Enter your library card number and click “Log In”

Choose your checkout period and click “Confirm check out”

Click “OK”

Adobe Digital Editions will open automatically and your new title will

appear in your

library.

If you want to read from your computer, use the navigation

tools on the left to move chapter

by chapter. If you want to put this title on your eReader, attach the device now.

Click “Authorize

Device”

ClickFinished

With the ereader attached, there is now a “media” (or in this case, “nook”) file on the left side. Use your mouse to drag the book onto the word “Nook.” When you see a “+” let go and the file will be on your device.

Dragging…(note the red x, don’t

let go yet!)

Dragging – see the green +? It’s okay to

let go now.

To view your digital library account, go to “Download Center,”

and click “My eAccount”

Your eAccount includes information about your digital downloads only. You can view

your eHolds, set preferences for your lending periods and view currently checked

out eMaterials. To view your physical (paper books, cds, dvds) check outs, you’ll

need to log into “My Library Account”

There is a queue for eHolds
