Who are they?

They are young graduates looking for a job.There was a call for the strike on the internet in

september 2005 to alert the population about the situation.

What do they Want ?

In France, there is a group of activists who represent several thousands of workers who have no rights, and who can’t find don’t have their place in society.

What do they do ?

The young activists of precarious generation have given awards to honour companies like a french bank (called BNP) that have decided to cut back on the cost of workers.

With these people a french bank managed to increase trainees by 68 % which helped to lower the number.The use of fixed-term contracts by 35 %.

Their claim is simple: trainees musthave a real status as apprentices in the labor law.

For example:• Minimum wage for old

age pension.• Trainees don’t have a

status and they need one.

• Reduction of the difference between training and education.

• Support of the trainees by trade-unions

• A recognition in justice to solve problems between employers and trainees

The young, first victims of the crisis in Europe.

In february 2013, almost 5,694

million young europens (off students) did not have a job

in europe.The unemployment rate of the under 25 years old is going up.So 23% of young people are

looking for a job in the European union.In France, the unemployment

ratefor all the active people reaches 10.8% in february.
