How To Embed Office 365Documents into Moodle

Step 1

Firstly; open and edit your document in Office online

Step 2

Now you need to press; File > Share Do not click embed yet, you first need to click

‘Share with people’

Step 3

This window will appear, you need to press‘Get a link’

Step 4

In the ‘View Only’ section you need to copy the URL

Step 5

Now paste the URL into a new window/tab

Step 6

Once you have opened your document using the URL,you will now be able to select embed from the menu

Step 7

This window will appear with your embed code, readyto be copy and pasted to your Moodle page.

A good tip for optimal viewing would be to double the dimensions.
