What is Gateway Assured?

Allows learners to gain a certificate from a national awarding organisation for provision which does not lead to a regulated qualification.

A way for Providers to gain external recognition for the quality of their training programmes, like a kite mark!

What does Gateway Assured look like?

Learners get skills for employment and specialised knowledge!

Barking & Dagenham College offer a construction traineeship comprising of a Level One Awards in Health & Safety in Construction and Employability plus Gateway Assured programme in concrete framing.

Learners undertake specific qualifications combined with bespoke skills training required for work environment.

Examples of Gateway Assured

Learners receive certificate from awarding organisation recognising achievements.

Provides Employer with awarding organisation recognition for quality of training.

The course can be approved as a Gateway Assured training programme.

Employer offers in-house customer service course to staff.
