“@ British School Panchkula ”

The participating children were introduced to Cinquains, which is a poetic form that employs a five line pattern. They created and recited their own poems. They created stories, scripted their dialogues and made puppets…

So what is a story?? The children created mind maps about stories and the skills required for performing a story.

An activity exploring the skill of “Listening”!

Story making started with visualization skills.

Activities to motivate children to think out of the box...

An activity of voice training to spruce up the children’s Story Performances. In how many different ways you can say a sentence using different emotions, expression, voice and body language.

Time for children to make their own puppets according to their characters in the story. All the activities we chose focused on developing different skills of the children – visual spatial, linguistic,

kinesthetic, musical, mathematical, interpersonal and intrapersonal…

Rehearsal time where children overcome their inhibitions to speak and act. And they worked in teams which help build co-operative learning skills…

Finally the big day is here. One of the groups is performing in front of the audience
