Cicero

• Marcus Tullius Cicero was a roman philosopher, statesman, lawyer, arator, political theorist, Roman consul and constitiutionalist.

• He was born in january 3, 106 BC.

• He introduced the Romans to the chief schools of greek philosophy.

Hadrian

• Publius Aelius Hadrianus was born on January 24th 76 AD.

• Hadrian was an emperor of Rome from 117-138 CE.

• In Rome he re-built the pantheon and constructed the temple of Venus.

Hannibal and the Carthaginian Wars

• Hannibal was born in 247 BCE, he was born in Carthage.

• When he was born they were about to loose a very important war.

• He was the only son of the Carthaginian general Hamilcar Barea.

Julius Caesar and Augustus

• Julius was the son of Gaius Caesar.

• Augustus established the principate which is when government is ruled under the empire.

• Augustus was an adult when he was adopted by Julius.

Romulus and Remus

• According to a legend Remulus and Remus founded Rome.

• Their father was god of war and their mom was a Latin princess.

• When they were growing up the king was afraid they were going to take his thrown so he left them to die.
