Adding a new file

1. In Mahara, click the Portfolio tab2. Then click the Collections Tab3. Click your copy of the Get into Enterprise PDP portfolio.

1. Open the ‘Copy of Personal Action Plan’ page (or whatever you have named the Page)

2. Click the Personal Action Plan.docx document – you need to download and save this document to your computer before you can make changes. In summary, you need to:• Download and save the document - be sure to rename the document• Make changes• Upload the document into your Mahara Files• Add the document to this Collection page

1. Click the Personal Action Plan.docx document2. Select Save File3. Click the OK button – navigate to where you wish to Save the file

• Rename the file• Edit the file and Save any changes you have made

To upload your edited file back into Mahara:1. Click the Content tab2. Click the Files tab3. Upload the file either by clicking the Browse button or by using the Drop

files here to upload feature4. Your file should be listed once it has been uploaded

1. Navigate to the ‘Get into Enterprise PDP’ collection and select the ‘Copy of Personal Action Plan’ tab

2. Click the Edit this page button3. Click the Settings icon for the File(s) to download

1. Scroll down you file list until you see your ‘updated’ Personal Action Plan document

2. Click the Select button for your document3. Click the Save button

1. Check that you have added the correct file to the File(s) to download box• If not? Repeat the previous steps to remove the incorrect file and add

the correct file2. Click the Done button to apply and save the changes

Your Personal Action Plan page now contains your added file as well as the template/blank document: Personal Action Plan.docx.
