Selection criteria - Research
A learning object is called universal when it:1. is independent from any language:
– images– applets for sciences and maths– exercises for mathematics
2. is in English (as soon as students know English)3. is open, can be adapted (translated)4. is in many languagesBut even then, it is sometimes not universal when it not relates to national curricula
