There are 164 Million pets in the

United States and only 20% of them were

adopted from shelters or rescues

Between 5.7 and 8 Million

animals enter into shelters

every year

Some of us

have a more difficult time

finding a home

Black Cats & Dogsare the most overlooked in

shelters and are twice as likely not

to ever find homes

Senior animals or those of us that look a little different still have a lot of love to

give

Unfortunately

3.5 to 4 million

animals are

euthanized

each year

If you or any one you knowIs looking for a pet. Please

consider adoption!

Adoption is usually less

costly and we will love you

unconditionally and provide you

with companionship

and reduce loneliness

Owning a cat has proven to lower your chances of dying of heart disease and on average people who own pets

live 2 years longer

If You cant adopt a pet, there are plenty of other ways you can help an animal in need

Volunteer at a shelter or help plan or attend one

of the incredible

fund raising events

Consider donating food to a shelter or when

purchasing food choose one that supports shelter and animal

rescue organizations

Donate your used towels, sheets and

comforters to a local shelter
