John 8:58

“I tell you the truth”, Jesus answered, “before Abraham was

born I AM. ”

Memory Verse

Neither this man nor his parents sinned, but this happened so thatthe work of God might be displayed in his life. As long as it is day, we must do the work of him who sent me. Night is coming, when no one can work.

John 8:3,4

Jesus said, "You’re asking the wrong question. You’re looking for someone to blame. There is no such cause-effect here. Look instead for what God can do. We need to be energetically at work for the One who sent me here, working while the sun shines. When night falls, the workday is over.

The Message

But it was our sins that did that to him, that ripped and tore and crushed him-our sins! He took the punishment, and that made us whole.

Through his bruises we get healed. We’re all like sheep who’ve wandered off and gotten

lost. We’ve all done our own thing, gone our own way. And God has piled all our sins,

everything we’ve done wrong, on him, on him.

Isaiah 53:5-6

He said, “I told you already and you did not listen. Why do you want to

hear it again? Do you want to become his disciples, too?”

John 9:27

Jesus said, “For judgment I have come into the world, so that the blind will see and those who see will become

blind.”

John 9:39

For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to

save the world through him.
