Facebook’s founder Mark Zuckerberg, (born May 14, 1984) is an American computer

programmer and entrepreneur.

As a Harvard student, he created the online social website ‘Facebook’ in Feb 2004, which he created in a week and has been modifying it ever since.

With fellow computer science major students and his roommates Dustin Moskovitz and Chris Hughes, he created FACEBOOK.

He serves as Facebook's CEO. He has been the subject of controversy for the origins of his business and his wealth. Mark fell under the Scientists Thinkers category for his web phenomenon, Facebook, and is ranked 52 out of 101 people.

Zuckerberg was raised in Westchester county, New York, by his parents, Edward and Karen Zuckerberg.

His father Edward is a dentist in Dobbs Ferry, New York, and his mother is a physician. He is in a relationship with Priscilla Chan , a pop singer from Hong kong.

About Mark’s education Zuckerberg attended the prestigious prep school Phillips

Exerter Academy, New Hampshire. While he was there, he and his roommate built a WinAmp plug-in that would track a user's music preferences and craft playlists based on his or her taste.

Early on, Mark enjoyed developing computer programs, especially communication tools and games. Microsoft and AOL tried to purchase Synapse, his computer game and recruit him, but he decided to attend Harvard university instead.

Mark’s classmates Divya Narendra and Tyler Winklevoss have claimed Zuckerberg stole their concept and business plan, and brought him to court in 2008. However, the judge ruled in favor of Mark.
